About Blue Moon Productions

Blue Moon Productions is a technical illustration business. I provide hardware product drawings, conceptual art, and task-oriented procedural step illustrations for advertising, graphic design, high-tech and the biomedical field. This business is owned and directed by me, Faith Bradford, and has been in operation since 1990.

Blue Moon Productions Goal
My primary goal with each client is to create illustrations that effectively communicate technical concepts and support product documentation, be it print or online. My focus is always on the end user experience. My client’s customers should have access to art that helps them quickly and easily begin using your product; I see this as my job to make that happen!

About Faith Bradford
Having created a plethora of technical illustrations over the years, I have discovered my favorite aspect of being part of a documentation team is collaborating with the writer—keeping the focus on what’s best for the end user and creating effective technical illustrations. What I also find very rewarding is creating clean and clear instructions that are easily understood.

Freelance illustration keeps things fresh for me as each project is new and challenging! I love learning about new technology through the wide variety of cutting edge products that I have the opportunity to illustrate.

When I’m not creating technical art, I enjoy learning ballroom dance— spending time with my husband Greg and our son Evan, hiking in the Los Gatos hills with friends and training our dog, Bailey Kula (Hawaiian for Golden). When time permits I also love picking up my Charcoal pencils and creating portrait art for fun and relaxation.
